Club Rathdowne Receives Award from Urban Development Institute of Australia

NJM are UDIA Award Winners!

We are thrilled to share that one of our projects recently took home a design award at the 2022 UDIA awards. The project, Club Rathdowne, in Wollert (project 5691), was awarded winner in the category of Great Place. We are grateful to be acknowledged as part of the design team and receive this certificate.

Club Rathdowne is a resident’s club for a new housing development in Melbourne’s north. The housing development is part of Villawood’s rapidly expanding portfolio of impressive housing communities.  The Club consists of a gymnasium, café, function/meeting rooms, swimming pool and water play area and outdoor tennis court.  It has been built with an impressive list of ESD features including a 100kW solar system and battery back-up and is intended to be carbon neutral.

The Club will be used bring residents in the estate together and create a real community feel.  Similar to this design, two other projects that have already been completed, along three other Clubs currently being built –  Clubs Alamora, Corridale and Redstone.
